Customizable training webinars that are ready to deploy

Endurance Learning’s virtual training sessions are ready to deliver to remote teams that need professional development.

What makes a great training webinar?

Your organization is full of people who have deep expertise and may even enjoy talking about it. You’ve probably designed training materials that cover every bit of content to ensure that each trainer has all the resources they need. You kick off your training initiative and expect to see great results.

But do you actually see great results?

Expecting your subject matter experts to pick up training materials and instantly become great facilitators who adeptly lead a training workshop is unfair to them and the learners.

A training webinar from Endurance Learning:

  • Offers experts an opportunity to understand the mechanics behind training design and delivery.
  • Teaches techniques that are proven to improve learning outcomes.
  • Inspires full time trainers, part time trainers, and occasional trainers to make every training session more effective.
  • Involves real engagement with the instructor and other participants to grow professionally.

Boring Training Activities? Not on My Watch!

In this 90-minute, hands-on, virtual training webinar Brian will demonstrate at least 6 different activities for engagement. Participants will use the updated version of Endurance Learning’s Training Activity Cookbook to design a lesson plan that leaves learners raving about their training session.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Choose specific training activities from the “Training Cookbook” that directly support their learning outcomes rather than just filling time.
  • Determine how to use interactive strategies as informal evaluation tools to see if their learners are truly “getting it” before the session ends.
  • Decide which activities they should NOT use; whether because they lack alignment with their objectives or because they don’t have the time to execute them effectively.

Boring Trainers? Not in My Organization!

This 90-minute virtual workshop is designed for L&D leaders and managers who are tired of “checkbox” training. We will explore how to transform your technical experts into extraordinary trainers by giving them the right tools, the right support, and the right framework to succeed.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the common challenges and misconceptions SMEs face when trying to plan and deliver engaging, adult-centered learning.
  • Pinpoint a range of practical support options, from providing “plug-and-play” resources like the Training Activity Cookbook to implementing formal, multi-day train-the-trainer programs.
  • Create a plan to empower their internal experts to move beyond reading slides and start facilitating learning that drives real organizational impact.

Instructor-Led Training That Doesn’t Waste Time or Break the Bank

This 90-minute virtual workshop challenges the traditional training paradigm. Inspired by the principles in Brian Washburn’s book, Instructional Design on a Shoestring, we explore how to be “ruthless” with your design process to ensure every minute spent in the classroom is necessary and impactful.

Attendees of this live online training will learn how to differentiate between problems that require formal training and those that can be solved more efficiently through informal learning resources.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Use a matrix to decide whether they should invest in building a robust learning program, borrow existing materials, or craft informal resources that get people exactly what they need, when they need it.
  • Explore a variety of low-lift, informal learning options—such as job aids, peer coaching, or supervisors’ support—that can either replace formal training or serve as “anchor points” to make their existing programs more “sticky”.
  • Identify ways to design amazing training even when their team is downsized or their budget is restricted.

The Fix for Lecture-Heavy Training

In this 90-minute virtual training workshop, we’ll show you how to break the “death by PowerPoint” cycle. You’ll learn how to wrap intentional, active learning strategies around your core content using a proven 4-step model.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Balance the desired outcome of their training session with the sheer volume of information they want training attendees to know.
  • Apply a 4-step training design model to build engaging activities that support lecture segments for a more well-rounded, effective training session.
  • Design a training lesson plan using the 4 training design steps and Endurance Learning’s Training Activity Cookbook.

Demonstrating an Activity From the Activity Cookbook

Do you have essential content that risks getting lost in a long, confusing lecture? The problem isn’t the information; it’s the delivery.

In this clip from an Endurance Learning training webinar, Brian Washburn models the 17×17 Lightning Talk, an activity pulled straight from the Endurance Learning Training Activity Cookbook. See in real-time how 17 slides, set to advance every 17 seconds, forces you to simplify your message.

Discover how this powerful, high-energy format can deliver core concepts without getting bogged down in details, making your training sharper and your learners more engaged.
